Santander US Capital Markets LLC (SanCap) is the institutional broker-dealer of Santander in the United States operating under Santander Corporate & Investment Banking (Santander CIB), a Santander global division that supports corporate and institutional clients. SanCap was created by successfully combining the experienced teams of Santander Investment Securities Inc. and Amherst Pierpont Securities LLC in early 2023. The firm brings significant experience in Fixed Income, Structured Products and Equities, supported by the strength of a large international bank. The breadth of our underwriting, sales and trading and distribution capabilities, alongside strategy insights, provides an unmatched ability to meet the needs of our clients. SanCap is focused on providing solutions to our clients in areas such as Credit, Rates, Structured Products, Securities Financing, Debt & Equity Capital Markets, Exchange Traded Derivatives, and Cash Equities. We serve a wide array of institutional clients including Asset Managers, Hedge Funds, Banks and Brokerages, Pension Funds, Insurance Companies, and Corporations. SanCap is a self-clearing member of the Fixed Income Clearing Corporation and a member of FINRA and SIPC. It continues to hold the Primary Dealer designation, which was received from the Federal Reserve Bank of New York in 2019.
