Bill Sweatt is an Analytical Manager and Co-Head of US CLO Ratings within Structured Finance at S&P Global Ratings. Bill manages the new issue and monitoring efforts for Broadly Syndicated Loan (BSL) CLOs, Private  Credit/Middle Market (MM) CLOs, CLO Warehouses and other CDO transactions.. 

Prior to managing, he was a lead analyst performing both quantitative and document reviews and specializing in CLOs, warehouse financings, and complex Collateralized Debt Obligation (CDO) transactions. Notably, Bill played a crucial role in S&P's inaugural rating of a CDO of subscription lines.  

Previously, Bill played professional hockey for 8 years after graduating with a bachelor’s degree from Colorado College. 

William holds a Master’s degree in Finance from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and is also a Chartered
