Wayne Gavioli is the Head of Research and Special Situations at Torchlight Investors.  Wayne has worked at Torchlight for 18 years primarily in the Trading and Portfolio Management groups before transitioning over to Research and Special Situations.  He has traded bonds up and down the capital stack, ranging from AAAs to unrated B-Pieces.  While on the trading desk, Torchlight purchased and fully realized 16 conduit b-pieces for an XIRR of 20.1%.  He was also involved in all facets of executing two interest-only resecuritizations as well as two Freddie Mac K Series resecuritizations.  He holds an A.B. from Harvard University in Applied Math and Economics.
