Tom is currently a Managing Director at M&T Bank within the FIG banking group focused on Financial Technology and Specialty Finance.  He has over 20 years of finance experience bringing a diverse skillset across finance, capital markets, strategy and FP&A/accounting.  He joined M&T after 6 years in CFO roles at two venture backed FinTech companies (Deserve, Brightside).  And before that he spent 15 years at Deutsche Bank where he was a Managing Director in the Investment Banking division covering Financial Institutions focused on Specialty Finance, FinTech and Asset Management.  Tom holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Princeton University and a certificate in Engineering Physics.
