Sergey Moiseenko joined Morningstar DBRS in 2011 and has worked on analytical assignments involving ABS transactions in commercial and esoteric space. Sergey focuses on transactions secured by equipment leases and loans, marine containers, small business and venture loans, structured settlements and other commercial assets and is also primarily responsible for developing and maintaining several rating methodologies related to these asset classes. Sergey is an active participant in rating committees, credit discussions and transaction screening meetings covering a broad range of topics related to a multitude of securitized assets. Sergey manages a team of Senior Vice Presidents at Morningstar DBRS’s US ABS group. 

Prior to joining Morningstar DBRS, Sergey spent more than five years at the asset-backed financing desk of Deutsche Bank Securities. He was responsible for the origination, structuring and execution of securitization financing transactions collateralized by equipment loan and lease receivables, trade receivables, specialty finance assets (charged-off consumer receivables, warranty and insurance premium finance), marine container leases, venture loans and leases, structured settlements and truck rental receivables. Before joining Deutsche Bank, Sergey spent three years at the Global Securitized Markets group of Citigroup Global Markets. Sergey holds an MBA degree from the University of Rochester Simon School of Business Administration and a BA degree in Japanese studies from the Far Eastern State University in Vladivostok.
