Ryan Callahan is the Co-Head of Capital Markets at Cross River. He joined Cross River in May 2019 and is responsible for managing the Bank’s retained portfolio consisting of multiple flavors of consumer assets (unsecured, buy-now pay-later, residential solar, debt settlement, etc). More particularly, the Capital Markets Team focuses on funding the Bank via securitization and conducting asset sales to institutional investors. The Capital Markets Team also oversees the Bank’s Securities Investment Portfolio and makes credit investment recommendations (bulk, forward flow, etc) related to new platforms and/or products.

Prior to Cross River, Ryan helped build the Capital Markets and Strategy function at Laurel Road, a fintech specializing in originating student loans. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Princeton University.
