Rolaine Soril Bancroft, a seasoned compliance advisor and strategic consultant, leverages her experience at the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to guide clients through complex financial, regulatory, and compliance challenges.

Rolaine serves clients as a trusted advisor on matters related to structured finance, securities compliance, and capital markets strategy. She draws on extensive public sector expertise with:

•             Compliance with US securities laws for securitization transactions and participants

•             Policy advocacy for offerings of asset-backed securities, in particular private-label mortgage-backed securities

•             Compliance with rules applicable to Nationally Recognized Statistical Rating Organizations and credit ratings of asset-backed securities

Prior to joining Latham, Rolaine served for 20 years at the SEC in multiple roles, most recently as the Chief of the Office of Structured Finance in the Division of Corporation Finance. She brings particular insight on SEC reporting and disclosure obligations as she developed and oversaw the Office of Structured Finance’s disclosure review program.
