Mr. Reggie de Villiers is a Managing Director and Head of Structured DCM (Americas) & Co-Head of Latam Global Banking at UBS Investment Bank. He has over 25 years of experience structuring asset-backed transactions in the US and emerging markets.  Prior to rejoining UBS in 2015, Mr. de Villiers was the Head of Latin American Structured Finance at Bank of America Merrill Lynch (“BAML”). During his 8 years in this position, he structured and placed a number of innovative securitizations raising over US$10bn for clients across a broad range of asset classes.

Before joining BAML, he was an Executive Director at UBS Investment Bank, where he was responsible for the securitization of esoteric and consumer assets. Before UBS, Mr. de Villiers worked at Bank of America Securities focusing on real estate securitizations. 

Mr. de Villiers is an MBA graduate of the Darden School at the University of Virginia. He also holds a BBA from the University of Miami, where he graduated magna cum laude.
