Joe Amoresano is a Director in the Structured Finance Group at SMBC. Joe has more than a decade of experience in the origination and structuring of securitization facilities across various asset classes and industries. 

Joe joined SMBC in July 2021 to help grow the firm’s securitization coverage of financial institutions, such as Fintech and Financial Sponsors across asset classes, including Unsecured Consumer Loan, Buy Now, Pay Later, Student Loan, Solar Loan/Lease, and others. 

Prior to SMBC, Joe worked within the securitization groups at Mizuho and Credit Agricole, where he covered different Financial Institutions, Sponsors, TMT, Industrials, Global Subsidiaries, and asset types, including Unsecured Consumer Loans, Student Loans, Credit Cards, Handset Installment Loans, Auto Loan/Lease/ Floorplan, Equipment Loan/Lease, and Trade Receivables. While at Mizuho, Joe supported the build out of their securitization platforms for Telecommunications, Fintech, and Financial Sponsors. 

Joe graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor of Arts or Science in economics with honors.
