Mario Ichaso currently serves as an Executive Director and Senior Lead RMBS Strategist in the Structured Products Trading Desk Strategy group within Wells Fargo’s Corporate & Investment Bank. In this role, Mario works directly with the trading desk while also engaging with a wide group of market participants domestically and overseas.

Mario has over 12 years of experience in the banking industry. Prior to joining the RMBS trading desk, Mario worked as a Depository Strategist for Wells Fargo’s Portfolio Strategy team where he developed balance sheet and investment portfolio strategies for depository clients. Mario began his career at Access National Bank where he was responsible for managing the investment portfolio strategy and execution, wholesale funding activities and the bank’s asset liability management.

Mario holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance from Virginia Tech, is a Chartered Financial Analyst, and is Series 7 and 63 licensed.
