Kyra Fecteau
Kyra is a fixed income portfolio manager, managing both benchmark-relative and total return-oriented portfolios for institutional investors and sub-advisory partners. Her insights into the macro-economic environment, in particular changes to consumer behavior, housing and commercial real estate markets, contribute to the top-down investment process for portfolios. In addition, her responsibilities include developing securitized credit investment ideas and identifying sector and security-specific relative value opportunities within the structured finance sectors.
Prior to joining Wellington Management in 2021, Kyra worked as a portfolio manager at Loomis Sayles. She was also a securitized credit investment strategist, responsible for constructing and implementing optimal securitized credit strategies across all fixed income products (2015 – 2021). Before joining Loomis, she worked at Merganser Capital Management as a structured products research analyst, trader, and co-portfolio manager on their CMBS unconstrained portfolio (2010 – 2015).
Kyra earned her BA in economics and international studies from Stonehill College (2008). Additionally, she holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the CFA Institute. She is active in industry organizations and serves on the Executive Committee of the board of Directors of the Structured Finance Association (SFA), the leading trade association for the structured finance industry
