Konstantin Kulev is the Head of CLOs at MUFG. He joined the firm in 2015 and until his current role he was a lead CLO banker and structurer in Structured Products Group, responsible for arranging and distributing CLOs.

Prior to MUFG, Mr. Kulev spent 12 years at Deutsche Bank working in structuring and trading CLOs and CDOs. Mr. Kulev worked on arranging new issue CLO/CDO transactions and managed an analytics team from 2002 to 2008. Subsequently, Mr. Kulev executed complex structured swap transactions before joining the secondary CLO/CDO trading desk in 2010 where he traded, and risk managed a market making book working with a large number of CLO investors. Mr. Kulev started his structured finance career as a financial engineer at Wall Street Analytics (now Moody’s Analytics). 

Mr. Kulev holds an M.A. in Economics from University of Chicago and a B.S. in Economics and Mathematics from University of Richmond.
