Jonathan Wishnia
Clients value Jonathan’s extensive experience in matters related to the trading and financing of loans, servicing rights and instruments derived therefrom, the servicing of loans, and the securitization of various asset classes. He also advises clients regularly on secured and unsecured credit facilities, asset purchases and sales, mergers and acquisitions, and other general capital markets matters, as well as the resolution of disputes relating to his practice.
Jonathan maintains a diverse practice that includes representation of investment managers and management companies, fund organizations and portfolio companies, investment and commercial banks, consulting firms, financial institutions, broker-dealers, mortgage servicers and originators, trustees, and nonprofit foundations, among others.
Jonathan has been recognized as "Empire State Counsel" by the New York State Bar Association and as an “Attorney for Justice” by the Tennessee Supreme Court and the Access to Justice Commission for his pro bono work in the housing finance sector. He is on the Board of Trustees of nonprofits that focus on revitalizing underserved housing sectors nationally.
In his free time, Jonathan has coached Pop Warner football and youth baseball and served four years as the President of his Temple.
