Joseph Servi is a Managing Director and Senior Originator in the Securitized Products Group at SMBC. He covers non-flow ABS clients in asset classes such as data center, fiber, whole-business securitization, royalties, among others. Prior to SMBC, Joseph spent ~3 years at KKR and ~10 years at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in ABS origination at both firms.
At KKR, Joseph was focused on Digital/Esoteric ABS origination including Active Bookrunner roles on a number of data center, fiber, and whole-business securitization ABS transactions. At BAML, he was involved in the origination, structuring, distribution, and credit in ABS deals across whole-business securitization, data center, fiber, music royalty, solar, triple-net lease, oil & gas, transportation, and other asset classes. In both roles, Joseph was directly involved in the preparation and execution of numerous Structuring Lead Bookrunner roles.
Joseph graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
