With over 25 years of experience in structured finance and specialty finance, James Vergara is the Chief Investment Officer of Arlington Financial, a consumer home improvement lending platform. Arlington originates energy efficiency and other consumer home improvement loans to prime and super-prime borrowers through a nationwide tightly-managed network of contractors, dealers, and installers.

Prior to joining Arlington, Mr. Vergara served as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Investment Officer of Home Run Financing, a leading Residential Property Assessed Clean Energy (R-PACE) lending company, where he led the origination of R-PACE loans for energy efficiency, renewable energy, and resilience improvements in California and Florida, and completed four rated securitizations of R-PACE assets.

Mr. Vergara serves on the advisory board of a residential solar lending company and is Secretary of the Board of the Florida PACE Funding Agency. He is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania.
