Ms. McLeod is an asset-backed finance lawyer in Dechert's New York office, with experience across both the U.S. and London markets. Ms. McLeod's practice focuses on asset-backed finance and private credit, with a particular emphasis on fintech-driven transactions. She represents issuers, arrangers, trustees, asset managers and funds in U.S., European and cross-border securitization, asset-backed lending, portfolio sales, forward flows and fund finance transactions across a broad range of asset classes, with particular depth in consumer assets, including unsecured consumer, point-of-sale, buy now pay later, home improvement and credit cards.

A significant part of her practice involves working with fintech companies and fintech-focused investors on novel transactions and new issuance platforms, including some of the first U.S. securitizations of their kind in the BNPL space.

Ms. McLeod is admitted as a Solicitor in England and Wales and licensed as a Legal Consultant in New York.
