Overview

Elie has more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. He is a Partner at Aprio’s Assurance* Services Team. He oversees all aspects of the work product produced by the Structured Products practice, which includes Agreed Upon Procedures (AUP) for all types of ABS transactions and CLOs. Elie’s clients are across all industries, including auto, RMBS, CMBS, personal loans, business loans, O&G solar, leases, and music royalties.

Experience

He served as the Head of Securitization and Structured Products at a professional services firm for just under seven years, and as a credit analyst at a credit hedge fund for 11 years. Elie is experienced with all aspects of managing a CLO from credit analysis through trade closing, with primary responsibilities in new credit underwriting, existing credit portfolio monitoring, overall CLO portfolio composition and monitoring, indenture review and analysis, backup trade closer, and portfolio analytics. His specializations include investment banking, credit analysis, securitization, and structured products. Elie holds a robust skill set which comprises financial modeling, portfolio management due diligence and deal management.
