Cory Wishengrad is the Head of Fixed Income at Guggenheim Securities, overseeing the investment banking and sales and trading activities for Guggenheim’s structured products and corporate credit businesses, including Structured Products Origination, Leveraged Finance, Fixed Income Capital Markets (Syndicate), Fixed Income Distribution and Fixed Income Trading. He has 20+ years of experience in the fixed income space. Mr. Wishengrad is widely regarded for creating the whole business securitization (“WBS”) asset class in the U.S. and is a market leader in the securitization of a wide range of esoteric assets.
Mr. Wishengrad joined Guggenheim Securities from Barclays, where he was Co-Head of Securitized Products Origination in the Americas. Prior to Barclays, Cory spent nine years at Lehman Brothers, where at the time of the acquisition of Lehman by Barclays, he was responsible for Esoteric ABS.
Mr. Wishengrad has a BA summa cum laude from Dartmouth College and a JD cum laude from Harvard Law School. Mr. Wishengrad serves on the Board of Trustees of the Abraham Joshua Heschel School in Manhattan, and previously served on the Board of Directors of the Hebrew Free Loan Society of New York and the Structured Finance Association.
