Mr. Doherty joined Bayview in 2025 as Managing Director and Co-Head of Fund Finance. He is responsible for investment activities across the firm’s fund finance platform, including structured financing solutions for private investment funds and alternative asset managers.

Prior to joining Bayview, Mr. Doherty spent approximately a decade at J.P. Morgan within the Structured Equity Financing group in the firm’s Corporate and Investment Bank. During his tenure, he played a central role in the expansion of the firm’s fund finance business and held several leadership positions, including U.S. Head of Private Equity Secondaries and Global Head of Risk Recycling. Prior to joining J.P. Morgan, Mr. Doherty held a similar role at UBS.

Mr. Doherty earned a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
