Christopher Helwig is a Managing Director in Santander US Capital's Investment Strategy Group focusing on agency and non-agency RMBS with over two decades of mortgage-related structured products experience. He has spent the majority of his career covering both the agency and non-agency markets as an investment strategist, advising institutional clients, as well as serving in both trading and mortgage finance roles.  Prior to joining SanCap, Chris held senior roles at BMO,  Amherst Pierpont, Deutsche Bank and Bear Stearns. He earned a B.A. in Government studies from Georgetown University.
