Borja Azpilicueta is Head of Capital Solutions, a business unit within the Alternative Credit Platform in HSBC Asset Management, focused on High Grade and Structured Private Credit. Borja is based in London and has over 30 years of experience including Investment Banking, Principal Investment and Credit. Prior to joining HSBC Asset Management, Borja was Global Head of the Private Capital Group at HSBC CIB, where he worked in numerous strategic and financing transactions with Alternative managers; and was responsible for the HSCB Principal Investment program. Prior to joining HSBC, Borja held senior Investment Banking roles at Credit Suisse and UBS. Borja is a graduate from ICADE university in Spain and was Associate Professor at IE Business School.
